Can I still get a mid band 5 (85+) (1 Viewer)

Just wondering if anybody could guesstimate the best HSC mark I can get for 2 Unit Mathematics, the following are my assessments so far along with the marks and ranks:

Sequences and series: 92%, Rank (17/69)
Quadratic Polynomials: 80%, Rank (36/69)
Probability: 75%, Rank (29/68)
Second Derivative: 72.9%, Rank (32/68)
Half Yearly: 64%, Rank (40/69)
Integration: 96%, Rank (12/69)
Logs & Exponential: 81%, Rank (41/69)

The Half yearly is worth 20% of the assessment mark whilst the other tests are worth around 6.25% each. I have one more assessment and the trial left to go. In other words I have around 36.25% of the assessment mark left 'to play for'.

What's your current overall mark and rank?

What can you get in a full past paper?

A really rough estimate... top 15 of 69, able to get 100/120 should get you an 85.

Not sure what my overall rank is cause what I've posted is all that my school has given me at the moment. Btw what about 87+, is that still possible or is it a bit slim.

100/120 raw is nearer to a band 6 in the external HSC exam.

it really depends on the difficulty of the paper...it could vary from 90/120 to 100/120 for a band 6
youre probably ranked in the middle imo, so if you rip the trials into shreds, then that shall set you up for a good hsc mark for mathematics

I know 2005 was around the 93 mark region, I had 95 as my exam mark and I know I only had a maximum of 105/120 raw.

I've got my assessment rank back and its 25/57. Is a band 5 still possible?

I've forgotten about High School Trial HSC Exam, but have you completed it yet?

If you have, and your rank is that stated above, I would say you still have a fairly good chance, though you'll need to roughly get a rank in the top 10% of your school results and/or do reasonably well in your HSC.

25/57 is the assessment rank thats going into the Board of Studies. All my assessments for maths have finished. Am I still in with a chance for at least a band 5 for maths?

that depends how strong your cohort is for maths.
if theyre all bright kids then getting 85+ shouldnt be a problem, provided that you do well in your maths exam.
