The above website is apparently quite helpful. I carpooled from sydney for 2 and a half years with friends from my course. I would definitely suggest using the website, or alternatively you could wait till you meet some people from your course and find carpool buddies that way.

Definitely try those ones too, but also if you go on the uni website and find out which site they recommend that would probably be the best thing simply because that's what most other people will be doing.
