I want to get into undergrad medicine at UNSW so bad , hopefully i shall make it but i have to face UMAT and get 99+

It doesn't affect u unless if u r aiming for 99.95

Honestly it doesn't affect you, whatever your goal ATAR is you CAN achieve it no matter what school you go to. The only preconception of people going to 'lower' ranking schools not getting 99.95 is because people from higher ranking schools usually perform better a WHOLE, that however does not in any way mean than the individual is not able to achieve their goals. That is preposterous rubbish.

Hey everyone!
I was just thinking of this myself so I thought, why not start a thread ? Share what you hope to do in the future, your career goals and ideas about the future, even which subjects you most enjoy in school! I'll go first:
I really enjoy English, it is my favourite subject however in the future, I wish to pursue a career in Medicine. Preferably I want to become a surgeon specialising in cardiology, I know it's a huge goal but I'm willing to work haha
Can't wait to hear everyone's thoughts!

Consult your teachers to find what last years (or previous years) highest HSC marks were. Find out what ranking this is relative to your cohort. Apply this to what you need to aim for.

My fav subject is probs Maths/ Chem and then it's Graphics. I don't really know what I'm going to do in the future. Probably in the Chemistry or Engineering field...But if I fail at both I'll be a postman (cause the yellow suit is so rad). Lol
