Deadshit, if you loved the original movie so much you'd know it was called "Willy Wonka and the chocolate factory", not "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory", like the new movie is. The new Burton/Depp film is a new version of the book, not a remake of the movie. There's a big difference.

The director is Tim Burton, so i guess it will be 'darker' or 'weirder' version. Remember his Batman and Big Fish, pretty weird but i didnt mind. Im actually looking forward to this movie. I liked the original version, plus Depp is a talented actor

For me Gene Wilder will always be Willy Wonka. I love that film so much (minus that godawful song the mother sings).

But I still really wanna see the new version. I think the original Oompa Loompas have more character.

I've been reading this and I'd like to ask why the hell you think that some stupid bloody rapper would be able to do a better job of Willy Wonka than the master of all things weird and wonderful....... Johnny Depp under the guidence of the director who taught him how to be that way Mr Tim Burton. Then I might also need to remind you that Danny Elfman (Big Fish, Edward Scissor-Hands, Spiderman) is composing the music so obviously with these 3 together for the 1st time since Sleepy Hollow this will be a great film so would you mind not insulting it??? I'm very, very angry
by the way the oompa-loompas are going to be played by the actor who played Mr Soggybottom in Big Fish.
