can we mention the canterbury tales on channel 2 that they're making all modern etc. or is it highly irrelevant? so far the millers tale is....raunchy.

It's an interesting find, but it's completely irrelevant. You cannot quote or use techniques except from the your given texts - even translations or remakes cannot be used. Also it likely won't add mcuh to your essay since you will be scrambling to make all your other points - so even if it was relevant, it woould just add extra work for you.
