Well I've done the first module and the second one should be done soon. I might have made a few errors; if so then please notify me.

EDIT: I have stickied this thread [27/01/2010] - Pwnage101

EDIT: (2/3/10) All modules and 2009 questions are up now. Oh yeah and I've also included a set of miscellaneous questions which I felt didn't fit into one module, either because they assessed outcomes from more than one module or because they were only skill based.

Wow! Thankyou so much :D

Where would we find the solutions to these?

I've heard the SUCCESS ONE textbooks have worked solutions? Any free resources though?

Re: Chemistry HSC questions sorted topic-by-topic

I just found out recently that from 2008 onwards, HSC 'Notes' from the marking centre with the marking guidlines also now come with sample solutions. Looking at the 2008 version (found here, 2009 version has not been released yet), they are pretty detailed.

That is true but do not depend entirely on these sample solutions. If you read the beginning of the marking guidelines they explicitly state that the sample solutions are not exemplary or even full mark responses and are only meant to be seen as a general overview of what the response should look like.

Taken from the 2008 marking guidelines:

'The examination committee develops the marking guidelines concurrently with the examination
paper. The ‘Sample Answers’ or similar advice are not intended to be exemplary or even
complete answers or responses. As they are part of the examination committee’s ‘working
document’, they may contain typographical errors, omissions, or only some of the possible
correct answers.'

That was awfully nice of you to compile them into topics. I'm not a big fan of doing it topic by topic but all my friends will enjoy this!

Thanks :)

Mmm, I figured as much. But the Success One books do have fully worked solutions to these, right? If so, I can just get down to the library...

Yup although personally I prefer the Odlum and Garner books to the Success Ones but in the end it's all your choice.

Thanks, will check for those too. You wouldn't know if there are any such topic-by-topic sortings for Math/MX1/MX2?
