Which papers from 2019-2023 do you guys think have been the most difficult?
heard 2021 was the worst (allegedly)Which papers from 2019-2023 do you guys think have been the most difficult?
bc real ones didn't pick chem to memorise the same amount of content as bio LMAO got no room for the cleaning action of soapim gone why is that exactly what im dreading as well
glad that these topics are a collective weakness so scaling works out better or smthyou just listed literally my 3 biggest weaknesses
I don't have any acronyms for them but I try to pick a specific example of the polymer to aid in memorising properties, yes
thank you so much
do you also have any tips on how to remember polymers properties like ptfe, pvc, etc.?
literally bro im trying to balance chem and bio rn and its like everytime i memorise something new something else gets pushed outbc real ones didn't pick chem to memorise the same amount of content as bio LMAO got no room for the cleaning action of soap
nahh same I actually so cooked for bio my ass is gonna start recalling organic reaction pathways on the exam instead of polypeptide synthesis frliterally bro im trying to balance chem and bio rn and its like everytime i memorise something new something else gets pushed out
ok ok but like whats the basis for the difficulty allegations bc last years paper was relatively fair idk why this years would be hardi'm actually so worried for chem wdym this year's paper will be difficult!!! chem's already difficult enough can they not give us a break.
thats exactly it last years wasnt too bad so this year will beok ok but like whats the basis for the difficulty allegations bc last years paper was relatively fair idk why this years would be hard
ok ok BUT like it was fair so yk whats stopping them from making it the same difficulty this yearthats exactly it last years wasnt too bad so this year will be
first year of new syllabus was outrageous and i think 2021? 22 and 23 were both easy so this year should be on the harder side (following the pattern)ok ok BUT like it was fair so yk whats stopping them from making it the same difficulty this year
blud i thought ur teacher was goodim so cooked for chem man. im getting like 70% on these papers
yeah 2019 + 2021 was relatively speaking hard, however idk if they are necessarily gonna follow a pattern 22 + 23 were both fair in terms of difficulty, not necessarily easy (imo at least with considering the last few questions), maybe slightly more difficult but i dont think they would necessarily revert to 2019/2021 hardness, maybe for a question in the 30s but not the entire paper cause it doesn't make sense to go back to having papers hard if they've already found a good relative hardnessfirst year of new syllabus was outrageous and i think 2021? 22 and 23 were both easy so this year should be on the harder side (following the pattern)
well also the new syllabus content also got confirmed so theyre gonna look to rotate out the syllabus next few years by digging out some hard qs. i just find it so unlikely they set another easy paper this year with the syllabus going into twilight next 3 years and the last true hard paper being 3 years agoyeah 2019 + 2021 was relatively speaking hard, however idk if they are necessarily gonna follow a pattern 22 + 23 were both fair in terms of difficulty, not necessarily easy (imo at least with considering the last few questions), maybe slightly more difficult but i dont think they would necessarily revert to 2019/2021 hardness, maybe for a question in the 30s but not the entire paper cause it doesn't make sense to go back to having papers hard if they've already found a good relative hardness
but then again haven't looked at the scaling over the years so who knows
I suppose, obviously they're gonna have to start recycling content but I don't think it's necessarily going to be more hard, maybe more combo questions tho (like last yrs (?) with the combo between spectras + organic rxn pathways), honestly I've attempted the 2021 paper I wouldn't say it's necessarily hard hard it just has a lot more difficult question 30s compared to the last couple years but tbf not the best judge of that since I like chem a lot and have spent an absurd amount of time dedicated to itwell also the new syllabus content also got confirmed so theyre gonna look to rotate out the syllabus next few years by digging out some hard qs. i just find it so unlikely they set another easy paper this year with the syllabus going into twilight next 3 years and the last true hard paper being 3 years ago
ok ok honestly speaking titrations aren't bad, once you've done enough practice for them they're all basically the same (excl 2021s that was erm. interesting), I js hope they don't pull any reading tricks like the gas compression one for equilibrium in the hsc that one yearProbably going to be a moderate paper this year. Tbh just don't want any stressful back titrations.
you don't wanna know what i'm getting...im so cooked for chem man. im getting like 70% on these papers
