Hey guys,
My name is Kevin. I graduated from Baulkham Hills High with an ATAR of 99.85 and came second in Chemistry.
I was contacted by Parramatta Library asking if I'd be interested in offering lectures on chemistry. Since i enjoy tutoring I happily obliged and now as a part of the part of the Parramatta Library HSC lecture program I will be giving a free lecture on titration on Wednesday 13th March 5:00-6:15pm at Parramatta Library, level 2
Titration is a very important and frequently examined topic in the HSC. However, many students have difficulty with titration as it is skills-based and largely taught in practical lessons rather than theory in classrooms.
The lecture will cover the fundamental theory and skills required to master titration.
1. the correct technique for conducting titrations and preparing standard solutions
2. how to perform titration calculations based on HSC examples
3. explanation of salts formed from titration and their neutral, acidic or basic nature (hopefully if time permits)
Notes will also be given out.
If you have any questions my email is kjiang91@hotmail.com
Hope to see you there
Kevin.
