2. Combined Law - International Studies. UNSW. 99.3UAI
3. Combined Law - International Studies in Arts OR Medicinal Science. UTS. 97UAI
4. Combined Law - Commerce. Macquarie. 95.5UAI
5. Combined Law - Asian Studies. Australian National University. 95UAI estimate.

Anything lower, and I'll just go on my backup plan. I want to stay around the Sydney area, but will probably end up going to Canberra.

What is international studies? It is a popular option to combine it with law.

Ive found a hardcore combination of combined law, would be good to do but i do not plan on working in uni:
Actuarial Studies/Law
!!!:O!!!

That would require a lot of work. And I thought that ppl do not do work at uni, well at least the minimum. I actually do hear that ppl study hard in uni?? wtf?

im willing to do a bridging course, and at CSU u dont require maths to get into B Info Tech. steele if ur point is to point out that im dumb.....good job! why dont u go stick ur "supremacy" else where? really how much can a guy gloat about how smart he is? and stop baggin me out for not doing maths, it was my choice and i suck at it and im FINE not doing it, its my future for watever i do, so stop bloody putting me down all the time.
woah. thats an overreaction and a half, if i ever saw one.

anyhow, i want to do medicine/surgery at usyd (99.xx + UMAT normally, but since im an international student i dont have to take UMAT)

bach of science, althought as a last resort. and the uai is abysmal for that anyway.

I'll probably end up doing commerce/law or something else at newcastle. I'd like to go to Sydney Uni but two things are stopping me. One: 99.60 UAI is not likely and two, if I live away from home, i'll literally starve to death as I can't cook at all! lol :p

Velox is right there - Sydney Uni prospectus said 99.95 as cut off. No UMAT required though, I think...

yeh, my bad, i got a couple of things confused. first, the Bach of medicine/surgery (MBBS) is a graduate entry at Syd Uni, meaning you can only enter it after completing another bachelor
however, there is a bach of science(medical or advance)/medicine/surgery where the UAI cut-off is 99.95, sans a UMAT, which is replaced by numerous interviews, checks, etc, but the intake is up to 7 local students and 2 international, so its rather a bottleneck.
obviously, this is all no more than a pipe-dream for me.

I think there's only one interview for that course, not numerous (well I only did one). And there isn't that much of a bottleneck, as they couldn't fill all their spots for this year I think. But they do still stick to their 99.95 cut-off.
