Class sizes in your grade? (1 Viewer)

Hi, I'm not doing Senior Science but I was just wondering how many people in your grade do Senior Science? I've visited the Senior Science class during one of my frees and there's about fifteen people in that class. Initially, there wasn't enogh expressions of interest to have a class in Year 11 but at the end of Term 3, when we changed over to Year 12 subjects, there were enough expressions of interest to start a class. So that means that most of the people in the Senior Science class are still doing another science, so they just do the Year 12 course, not the Year 11 one.

How many of you experienced the same thing? (having just a Year 12 Senior Science class, not a Year 11 and 12 one)

We only offer chemistry, physics and biology science subjects.
For me i only do chemistry and physics (I h8 biology!! its soooo boring)!!! lol

my senior science class started in yr 12.. we have 9 ppls but my software class is worse lol, we have 3!

our teacher is so crazy though. You ask him a question totally different to what were doing and he takes the next 30 minutes explaining

like the ozone layer while studying the human body spent bout 45 mins with diagrams and random experiments taken by dead scientists.

we had 7 people in our class, and the other class had 14 ithink

not as bad as my IPT class, we had 4!

back then i was in a small class

i remeber my class was only about 15 people size, i was not so good at first, but i finally had the grasp on science before HSC, i hope everybody does well in HSC

we have around 12 ppl. we all started S.S this year

we originally had 9 but a chick picked it up at the beginning of year 11 so now we have 10.
we've also had about 10 different teachers

We had 2 in year 11 and then it dropped down to none, we both dropped the subject for year 12.
Not bad considering we had a school size of 32 - ( 12 People in year 12 2004 )

well i dropped down to senior science from biology.
3 others dropped down with me.
about 5 people dropped the subject altogether.
theres 9 in our class right now.
1 of them never comes.
and one is doing science life skills.
so that makes 7 actual class members
& with low numbers we still manage to be behind in class.
