it wasnt a couple it was her own eggs, unless ur assuming its an inbred couple [meaning its not a clone due to sex-linkag genes w/male]

I think what she meant was that if the two ovum formed a clone then it's based on the assumption that all ovum in a female are genetically identical, and same with male sperm. And if this female reproduced sexually, then, according to your theory, all her children would be "clones" as there is only one option for the ovum and one for the sperm. But this doesn't happen, bc there's genetic variation amongst gametes, which is what led us to the conclusion that the offspring in the q wasn't a clone.

I dont think it was clone. Because of random assortment, independant segregation, and crossing could occur during the process.
