They all looked like a waste of time and energy to me.

Some of the Law/Engi/whatever Society style ones might be ok if you actually need to join a club to find drinking buddies, but that's about it.

Alternatively, if it *really* speaks to you, maybe some of the medieval club type ones would be fun, but if you ask me it doesn't look like the sort of thing anyone with any self-respect left would join.

Save your money unless there's something you're specifically interested in, or want to form an interest in and wouldn't mind experiencing crippling alienation in the process.

As a general rule, stay away from the political clubs. The people within tend to be snobbish, and will not hesitate to stab you in the back at first opportunity because they all think they're going to be the next PM. If you are a snobbish prick however, I would highly recommend them.

The only club I'm a member of at the moment is the Law Students' Society, and that's just because it's pretty much a requirement if you want to participate in law competitions that look good on your resume. It also has occassional binge drinking nights if that's your thing. It's a nice mix of degree-related activities, socialising and destroying your brain cells - clubs like that are what you should probably aim for.

I've never joined any. I remember looking at the list in first year and not being interested in any of them. We did discuss how we should make a bbq and beer club, or something similar at one stage...but yeh it didn't happen. I don't think they liked our idea :p

Someone make an interesting/exciting club for me to join...
FDM is run by Seth from the unibar/black opal and a few others from the drinking social scene.

F - Friends
D - Drinking
M - Music

Might be worth joining. I've nearly joined every club offered (and subsequently been blacklisted by quite a few for justified reasons) and unless it's Law (yes, just Law) or something like Medeveil etc, it's not really worth joining in my honest opinion.

I remember the Liberal club spent ages trying to get me to join. They just didn't understand that I don't care enough to join a party. I vote for whoever will rape me less.

And I was kicked out of the Queer Collective and The Resistance for 'being an unproductive member' or as one certain girl said 'Raiks, fuck off, you're not gay, you don't believe in any of these ideals, you're only here to stir shit and mock our entire organisation'.

We should start one....it shall be called "The Society for Pirates and Ninja's" and then when someone tries to join say to them, "you're not a pirate or a ninja....your just gay."

I'm not sure how well it'll do.....

I now need to point out that Dion changed his mispelling of "Ninga" or "Ninja" in order to make me look stupid.......wang.

Blender...

How do you get them out?
