Hi I'm very interested in all the co-op scholarship programs however i'm unsure whether i have a sufficient enough atar to apply...

the ones i'm looking at are all the commerce related ones;finance,economics,actuarial,accounting...

how difficult is it? how many apply?
how do you apply? do you need a school recommendation?
what kind of atar would you require minimum?
do you need to apply through uac?

thanks for the help

You just need the ATAR to get in, but if your ATAR is too low they kick you out since Co-op is selected before the ATAR is released.

Mate, the answer to all your questions are on the website in black and white, i don't understand why this is so hard....

'The academic requirement for entry to the Co-op program is a minimum ATAR of 96 (or equivalent). However, if entry to the specific program is higher, students must meet this award requirement, without the assistance of HSC Plus points e.g. entry to the Bachelor of Commerce business programs in 2010 was 96.7 (or equivalent). Students expecting an ATAR above 90 should consider applying.'

As for the number of people who apply, i'd say a probably 1000+
There are ~20 accounting positions, ~2-5 for the other commerce areas.

There are approximately 120 Co-op scholarships awarded over the four faculties.
