Combined Economics/Law

To anyone doing this degree (these degrees), what's it like?
The cut-off for HECS students is in the vicinity of 99.6% UAI - I take this to mean it is at least one of the most popular courses, but also one of the more prestigous on offer. Is this true?
I'm looking at undertaking this next year. Just hoping to get some feedback on it. Thanks heaps!

for clarification its law/commerce not law/economics.

commerce (lib) (honours) and then post-grad law is the way to go...

That's 8 years of study.
A 5 year B.Comm/LLB and 3 years of practical experience would be better IMO.
