i did a full study of birthday letters, ted hughes and sylvia plath last year for english.. For conflicting perspectives, a good perspective to have a look at is that of the feminists. They had heaps of contradicting views to those displayed in Ted Hughes poems, if u dont know wat to look for type in feminists and Ted Hughes into google, somethin will come up. Hope this helps..
