hi guys

just a quick question

got my creative marked, and teacher said it was pretty good.
good storyline etc
however she recommended it to be in 1st person.

but i have alrdy written it in 3rd person and ceebs to change it back to first person ??

thoughts?
and can you still get a high mark say 13-14/15 with third person ( depending on how good it is of course) , or will 1st person always get the higher marks?

Both can score full marks.

1st person if you want the story to be intimate with the main character i.e. get into their head, internal emotions, thoughts etc.
3rd person if you don't want to be limited just to the characters perspective.

Write in the form that you feel will most best convey your story, and that you are most comfortable writing in.

Also, with first person, your character can never die.

I would say, most students write in 3rd because they find it easier.

99.99% never 2nd.
