They let them get over 500...

Why did Johnson bowl so many overs when he couldent put the ball in a good spot and was getting flogged??

Johnson should be dropped for Tait in Adelaide. Four quicks should be taken into the WACA test.

True. All true. But I dunno if I'd have Johnson in the side for the WACA either...
Who would be in your attack?

Lee, Clark, Tait, Hogg? (Plus Symonds Clarke etc etc).

I guess you can justify the selection of Hogg as 4 quicks would be too one paced without a specialist spinner. However, his bowling has not set my world on fire, plus Clarke and Symonds (if fit) can bowl well enough to have 4 quicks IMO.

judging by the way india has batted in the first inning, if you are ricky ponting, would you score as fast as you can and put india in for the last day, or take it slow and bat india out of the game?

trivia - i was working at the grounds yest. aussie team arrived via 2 mini buses, while ricky came by himself with only a bag on his back. i approached him and asked why, he goes he'd rather drive to the ground. that's team spirit for you.

racial taunts dont have to be aimed at skin colour, they are racial for a reason (eg. against a certain race)

yea, the worst result for australia can only be a draw, i really cannot see an indian victory at this point. they needed quick wickets throughout the day but admittedly they were interupted by rain. draw is still the favourite.

I think that 250 is still getable for the Inidans on the last day. They have Laxman and Tendulkar in super form along with Ganguly, they can certainly do it. That said though, they would have to play exceptionally well. I think that a draw is still favourite.

I missed most of today's play, what happened? I saw that Habijan acted like a toss when he got Ponting out and Clarke got a golden.

Racism and alike comments have no place in cricket. I am disguested with anyone who uses them. I am not a sledger myself, I am not a fan of sledging, but I can live with it. Racial taunts though are a no no.

(UK) a black person.
See also:
1. Indians in general revere monkeys because they resemble a Hindu god.
2. India is the only country to allow gangs of monkeys to roam the streets of their capital murdering deputy mayors and such.

EDIT: This is fucking shit play by Ponting. You've got Symonds out there with Gilchrist and Lee to come, whack the fucking ball around a bit, get a big total, then declare earlier than you otherwise would have.

Yeah, the flow of runs is kind of slow at the moment. I just want Symonds and hopefully Gilly to explode ;)
