especially coz all my mistakes were SO STUPID!!!

I read further up in this thread that someone said If I got 81 in HSC that would be a band 6. Is that right? I'm confused bcos I think 68% is bad, but from the rest of 2U results it doesn't seem as bad as I thought.

I think that person meant 81 percent which is around 97/120 to get a band 6. For your mark 81/120, this is only a guess but that will probably around 84-85 in hsc. I got 100/120 which is kinda decent but made like 10 silly mistakes, especially question 1 where I got 9/12, so lost easy 3 marks there.

I hate stupid errors. But I know now to be more careful in my working and then check the questions properly! hehe.

I am not sure if this year's paper was easier or if the people are just smarter...I just had a brief look at 2008 CSSA Trial results and very few people got over 110 in that >.<

At our school, the top mark for CSSA 2 unit was like 118/120 =) I am proud of that dude even though I hoped he would get 120 xD
