Just wondering how others who completed the CSSA trial paper went in their results? I received mine the other day and received a mark of 78/120 :mad1:. Although not spectacular, I did manage to scrap in first place. Also, what mark would be appropriate for a band 6. My teacher stated that a raw mark of 80% (approx) would be close to the top of the state confused and that anything around 65-70% would give a band 6. Is this true?

I got 94/120 (78%) and i don't think that i'm close to the top of the state, well not yet. I'd think you would have to get like 95% to get close to the top. As for band 6 i really don't know but i think the CSSA trial this year was not as hard as previous tests.

Around 80/120 raw mark probably equates to 90. A raw mark of 80% is definitely nowhere near the top of the state. Typically, those who top the state get around 115/120 raw mark AT LEAST...
