96.5 --> 97?

wasnt the cutoff for 2004 only 96.00? But yeh i'd agree with you.. i reckon it will be at least 96.5 for 2005. i dont know if its just me, but everyone i'm talking to seems to want to do commerce at either UNSW or sydney.

Yeah there are a lot of people on these forums who want to do commerce at unsw (including myself) - I think it will increase to 96.5 or 97 perhaps. However if I dont get in I plan to do software engineering and then hope to do well enough to transfer into the double degree

well.... thats a novel way of looking at it

But seriously though the higher the cutoff the harder it is to then transfer into it later =\

luckily i'm doing commerce/law full fee which is only 96.3, so i doubt it will go up by much for me.

lots of people choose commerce because it's a really broad subject choice.

Not to mention all the asians going for it with their 98+UAIs

so many ppl want unsw for some reason. I dont get y.
especially for students of Asian background - its the best uni for Commerce in South-East Asia because of its recognition in the region

Yeah my sister went to UNSW and she said there were just so many asians around. Even in her course which was Mining Engineering lol.

Oh well, I hope that the cut-off stays below 97. If it stayed at 96 I'd feel alot more confident. Oh well, allways Business @ UTS as my backup for around 93 (or 88 at Kuringai :)).

theres no official stat on 'asians'
but at UNSW, 53% of total students are international students
