Played about 2hrs today, died a few times and tried a few different servers. I am yet to actually meet another player, managed to find a hatchet one game but no other weapons.

Will probs wait until I can play with my friend, I think it'd be more fun then.

Yeah, I had a similar experience. It requires so much patience. In the end, rather than just crawl everywhere to avoid getting noticed I just ran around with a hatchet and hit anything that tried to attack me. Died so many times.
