Hey guys, Just came out of my studies of religion 2 unit paper. Even tho this was prelim, I studied hard, well for the two days leading up to it at least. I walked in confident, very confident and felt ready to take the paper down. Finished the three hour exam, here was the structure:
Part 1- Multiple Choice/Short Answer: /30 marks
Part 2- Long Answer: /30 marks
Part 3- Extended Response: /20 marks
Part 4- Ancient Religion Extended Response
I felt still okay after the paper but I was pissed when i got home realising i lost some silly marks. For the long answer it was asked to name and explain the Five Pillars of Faith. I smashed this, wrote two pages and then realised upon arriving home that I actually provided an in depth analysis of the Five Precepts rather the Pillars. Is it still possible to pick up ANY marks in this or have i just thrown away 5 marks. The extended responses as well, the asked questions about significance of sacred texts for Buddhists, and for ancient religion, signifcance of principle rituals. I didn't study texts of Buddhism all to well, leading to me just rambling about how important texts are, more so than specifically Buddhist texts. Structure was great, language was key, everything well planned, except limited examples/refernece to the actual texts/ancient religion. I feel as if i will be pushing 60-70%, but should be pushing 80-90% as I think i lost silly mistakes and have screwed this.
Any advice please on if I have screwed this. I want to smash my religion in Hsc and not lose any marks, want to be hitting 90% at least, any tips for how to smash this course, my HSC properly starts in legit one week and my first assessment is asap as well for year 12. I want to maximise marks in all h&c exams/tasks, internal and external and rank as high as possible.
Thanks guys for the contributions, i need them to let my mind settle or stress aha.
