Did people at your school take this exam seriously?

Is SOR perhaps the course taken least seriously in the HSC lineup?

Haha, I think Music 1 is taken least seriously :p (I do it)

Really? Maybe for Aural but not as a whole...at least for my class.

Of course it is... we're forced to do it and there's no way it counts for half of us. I'm coming ~30/90 and i wrote 2 pages for the extended response and sat there for 40 mins. God knows what the person coming 90th did.

Most of those doing 1 unit didn't take it seriously, well duh, they didn't WANT to have to do it. But there was a good culture amoung us 2 unit students in that most people actually wanted do do really well and have it count.

At every school, there are people who care and there are people who don't care.

Word. At ours about half left after the first hour which was a little weird, but the rest stayed strong until the pen's down signal.

We've got a class of 18 (2unit) here & four left almost exactly on the one hour mark. After that everyone was pretty much good - the majority left around 30 mins before.

SOR 1 unit is a joke, making all the students do the subject just forces people to not take it at all seriously

the whole course is a joke. You can finish that paper in one hour if you study, its too easy

too bad that no one bothers to study for it

I studied hard for it. I need SOR 1 unit to count because one of my other subjects scales down badly, so i needed SOR to try and counteract it. Even though it's 1 unit, it's better than not having it at all. :)
