hey guys,

Whats the diff between de skilling and redundancy???

is it just you get redundancy packages??

& also

what is the realtionship between market segmentation and the marketing concept??

yer deskilling involves the use of fininacial reumeration (redundancy payouts)

LOL the marketing concept and market segmentation are 2 completly different things.

Marketing concept is when a business finds out a consumers needs and wants and makes products to suit those needs.

market segmentation is used by a business when they are trying find or best sell to their target market. Through undifferentiated, differentiated and concentrated marketing.

Deskilling and redundancy are related but completely different. Both are reasons to resistance to change, but one is a reason for employees and redundancy is a reason for employers.

Deskilling is a reason for resistance as employees fear that the skills they have will not be needed once the business has undergone change.

Redundancy is a reason for resistance for employers due to the financial cost involved. Don't forget that under WorkChoices some redundancy payments are no longer necessary.

That's my understanding anyway, please someone correct me if i'm wrong.
