I just have 20-30 absent days every year so that's concerning. I plan to finish a mining engineering course at uni. Can I just provide them with my qualifications from uni instead?

Depends how long ago it was. There is nothing stopping a potential employer asking for it and from memory, we usually ask for the past 2 or so years worth of records/results/reports/etc which may be relevant.

Just remember absenteeism isn't the only thing people will consider but be prepared for the question should you get asked.

Really would emphasise that it isn't always "definitely" as I can think of at least one reasonably large graduate recruiter in Australia who may ask...

Obviously if we are talking post uni and you've already graduated, then yes school reports might be out of scope unless there's a particular question which comes up (or they simply check any past applications you may have made and had to include the reports of documents). Doubt it will be given much weight but as I said before, just be prepared for the question should it arise.

Honestly I've just had a job interview I took my 'resume' folder which when I was applying for a job at Woolworths was just something I handed over but now they aren't even interested in it. You can go through and pull all your school reports out no one gives a rats. All they care about is your EXPERIENCE, perhaps a copy of your resume and qualifications (degree) and references which you build up throughout your working life.

I secretly still enjoy reading my old school reports from 2006, it's always interesting reading the teacher comments and picking the ones who copy and paste the same thing in every report just changing the name. Oh and of course I love the gold principal stickers.. who doesn't like subtle achievements.

LMAO no one will care about your High School report, people will just check uni grades and see if you are a good person.

If someone asked to see my high school report card I wouldnt want the job to be honest.

But you did your HSC ten years ago so that's a different story to the guys who are likely to be asking here.
