ah good, but how come u do bachelor of science now was Software engineering to hardI did Software Engineering during my first semester at USYD, and there was absolutely NO mention of physics at all. UNSW might be different, who knows?
Before, I was doing a double degree BSc/BEng (Software).ah good, but how come u do bachelor of science now was Software engineering to hard
thats what i meant, at UNSW physics wasnt an assume knowledge, but it is at Usyd.http://www.computing.unsw.edu.au/softwareengineering.php
It's not. The only computing degree that requires physics is computer engineering, which is more on the electrical engineering side of things.
Sorry, I saw Carrotstick's post and assumed you meant UNSW. As far as I can see, HSC physics isn't assumed at Usyd either, although there appears to be some physics courses there.thats what i meant, at UNSW physics wasnt an assume knowledge, but it is at Usyd.
I can imagine anything in IT, SDD, or something that involves coding would be beneficial. What are the subjects you need for software enginnering?
No pre-requisites. Also mechanics is completely useless for anyone doing software engineering. And for electrical V = IR, is not the only important law. You gotta know Kirchoff's laws.4U Maths- Mechanics will probably be all the pre-requisite physics you need for any Engineering.
Besides V=IR for the Electrical.
