But HSC markers are teachers, so yes.

However there are restrictions (you can't mark the work from your school or schools you know kids from, you can't mark your son or daughter's work etc.)

your art teacher should mark your progress on your BOW a couple of times, but that mark is part of your assessment.
i guess its to make sure you don't get someone else to do it for you or make the whole thing in the week before its due?

They might have your body of work marked as an assessment. So it's kind of like a test or assignment, or perhaps like your journal if that has been marked.

But they won't mark it externally. It gets sent away to a panel of markers who will mark your major work. They won't know who you are.

For example, internally our cohort had three assessments: one was an assignment, in another our journals were marked, and soon our Body of Work will be marked to make up the third assessment.

Then, externally your mark will be a combination of your theory exam (50%) and your BoW (50%).
