Do you have a llot of Proofs to do in Ext 1 Maths? (1 Viewer)

Hi i am thinking of doing Ext 1 Maths next year and i was wondering if there was a lot of proving you have to do. As i am struggling to keep up with the current similarity chapter

Any help would be appreciated

are you refering to geometical proof's only?

well theres circle geometry in the mx1 course, whcih requires alot of proving (like why angle x = angle y etc etc)

yer circle geometry - basically all proving
+ some 3 unit trig proving in yr12.
and induction i guess

The proving outside geometry is just actually doing the question with the answer given.

Yeah. But they can still get very difficult.

Proving questions are easy. It's just a matter of being able to manipulate the equation through.

You will basically see proving questions anywhere you go in MX1. I just did 2 MX1 past papers and I had 6 questions in total (or 7) that were proving questions which worth 3-4 marks each.
