Interactive multimedia is moving at such a rapid pace that it is causing the merging of multimedia technology. Today an example of this is being able to listen to the radio on the internet (eg triple J) thus increasing the interactivity of the multimedia environment of the net.
Also TV programs may be aired in the future on the internet. VCR's are now gradually being replaced with DVD's, thus utilizing computer technology.
Today there are also developments with some new fridges now incorporating the internet, tv etc. I think LG has devloped such techologies.
