Does internal mark count for me if only one person in the year group (1 Viewer)

I am doing Chinese background speaker for HSC. I am wondering whether my internal mark will be counted? Some of my teachers said it won't be counted at all, my external mark will contribute 100% of my mark, which means if i got 85, my atar for chinese will be 85. Is that right?

Your internals won't count,
this is because your internal marks average will be converted into your externals average.

It will count, but it will be the exact same mark as your external mark. So your HSC exam mark will be basically your HSC mark.
