Don't miss The O.C. (1 Viewer)

I've been hearing really great reviews about this show and it's been doing really well in the States. The O.C. is an addictive teen show that has plenty of hot guys & girls incuding Dave, Lane's not-boyfriend, from the Gilmore Girls. unfortunately i missed the premiere last week but i willl definately find some time to watch the 2nd episode on this week. 8:30pm, Thursdays on channel 9...don't miss it or you'll be kicking yourself!

Oh, I watched the first ep!
It was grand, all week I've been thinking "ooh how long till the next episode is on?!"

lol, that's a pretty good description actually. i think the OC is even produced by the same guys as melrose.. (and 90210. see the connection? )

although i think the characters are kinda cliched (read: "oh i have such a terrible, terrible past.. my dad's in prison, my mum's in jail, and as a result i became a badarse. but inside, i'm really a soft cookie." etc) but the relationships between the characters are pretty unique

like between seth and the badarse guy (fuck i forget his name)

and haha yeah, james van der geek is a bit of a tool isn't he.
i think the OC's main character is the most cliched. the dark, brooding horse type who doesn't say much at first. and he looks like a gronk.

Yeah he does... the neighbour, Seth (I think his real name's Adam Brody...) is adorable though so it makes up for it.

I actually like the show...and yes I must admit it is addictive. I dont know how well it will do here tho. Not many ppl I know watch it. Its certainly made summer tv that little bit better.

@glitter, yes his name is Adam Brody (and plays Seth Cohen).

@johnson, the other badass is Luke Ward (Marissa's boyfriend). The guy who kicks a man when he's down

But if you were referring to the main character, then Ryan Atwood would be the perceived badass - smoking, quiet guy, fights, etc.

@ForAGoodCause - I thought she (Marissa) looked more like the girl from "Sex and the City" (Charlotte I think it is) - the brunette, unless you were referring to Summer (Seth's "crush").

Come to think of it, she does look like Joey from Dawson's.

i think marissa is very pretty..much much prettier than katie holmes. i couldn't stand joey, she was always whinging and whining about this and that.

i'm such a loser, i already went and read the entire freakin episode guide for the OC =/
