Are they worth it for year 11 or year 12? Read a bit about them and they are made by different authors (I think), thus, can the quality change between subjects?

specifically, chem, bio, eco and sor.

You don't need them, especially for prelim lol.

Just rely on past papers, textbooks (eg conquering chem) and you're set.
