I have a firefox addon (i use FF3) called Flash Video Resources Downloader, u need to have a .flv player, just google it, and download away.

In Safari in any youtube video press command+option+a and you can download the video much faster than any firefox plugin.

Still, I only use safari to get youtube videos.

You dont even need a freaking program. There was a website that used to be called youtubex, but is now Download YouTube Videos and Save YouTube videos with VideoDownloadX formerly www.YouTubeX.com where you paste the url of the video in and you can download it via direct download.
