Who's started?

Did anyone else find the instructions pretty nonspecific? I'm worried that certain choices might not go down so well given the entire aim of the course seems to be to indoctrinate us with leftist rubbish (right down to the lecturer been a member of the greens - WTF?).

Ah well - let me hear your thoughts.

at least its only 300-400 words. Its not really an assingment anyway. More like a reflection on learning so it isnt too taxing.

I'n hesitant to take part in the discussion cos I might get flamed.

But in my opinion, its a pretty simple, straightforward assignment. Just write what your thoughts are and what you've learnt. Not difficult.

i finished mine. I said keynesian econ influenced me most.
Don't say anything about economic rationalism unless you're saying its evil.
i also made some shit up:
-my family is very right wing, and i was on the cusp, however thanks to ecop i am now left wing. YAY

so you are a socialist rather than a libertarian? Is that what you mean by right-wing and left-wing?

I am a social progressive (libertarian) and an economic progressive (libertarian moderated by keynes).

I'm a Liberal without the racism thanks to ECOP - I was a full blown socialist before this.
that confused me. possibly because i need sleep.
i personally am off centre left wing.
I believe in welfare. I believe in the value of a human life. However, i also believe in economic progress and increases in the quality of life. I don't believe anyone's rights should be compromised. I disagree with deregulation for businesses.
That's my real stand.
