From the threads I've read here it seems most of here tlak about being employ an accounting or finance firm, whether it be the "Big 4" for accounting or Mac Bank and the like for finance. In short, firms whose sole purpose is to accounting and/or do financy stuff.
I'm however wondering whether there is employment aside from this, specifly, employment at companies whose "business" in other area.
For example, I know that for marketing some people get employed at the marketing departments within a company whose business in in other area, while others get employed in marketing consultancies where they use thier marketing skills in a company whose business "is" marketing.
I'm wondering where a similar distinction in accounting and finance jobs, like would be be companies who hire theier own accountants/finance people. Or are my thoughts all wrong?
