hey guys!
I'm going to be starting my 3rd year doing a double degree Civil/Environmental Engineering at UNSW in 2013 and I applied for internal transfer to do B Eng/Com as I don't think I have much interest in Environmental Engineering. I'm just thinking... is this a wise move? I only have around 2 years left for my engineering degree (pretty much neglecting environmental engineering as I do not want to get into it, currently doing all civil courses) and if I get into commerce, I'd have to start fresh in commerce when I'm already half way into my Engo degree, this would add quite abit of time onto my degree (I think maybe a total of 6-6.5 years), also some of my electives I've done during my first and second year won't count as I'll be doing a double degree.
I am informed that I could study something called an MBA which is related to commerce after I finish my engineering degree but I'm not too sure? Would this be a better choice to make? Should I just drop it (say if I do get the transfer) and do straight Engineering?
Thanks
