Oh look, another mining engineering student. I cant help you with your problem but I can say hi, im a second year student who goes to these forums. The project I did for engg100 was this:



It was hard but worth it.

I didn't do Electrical ENGG1000...

Go to the UNSW Moodle site and on the right there is a link to the engineering moodle site (not sure why they are different really): i.e. https://moodle.eng.unsw.edu.au/moodle/

From 2008, the mining project involved designing of a hoisting shaft system. The design must be able to transfer a pack of 6 six eggs (x2 i think, cant remember exact) over 2.5m height.

Btw, welcome to school of mining engineering. I havent seen an 1st year mining student arround the school this year. I am a fourth year mining student.
