Anyone got any good tips plssss (especially how to score well on maths sections cause I suck)
Use View attachment 44706 for area of a circle since 95% of the time they are going to give diameters and not radius

Most of the time if they give you a number in the question expect to use it to work out the answer (or it may lead you to a easier working)

Write any relevant working down, that includes the formulas in the first line and free body diagrams. Also helpful to write the values given in the question matching the variable it goes into at the side to make it clear (you are also giving relevant working so that's probably 1 mark)

Use SI units

If they didnt give any lengths for truss questions assume each side is one unit (more common for equilateral triangle ones)
yes agreed also make sure youre using the same measurements, KG M N and make sure if they ask specific for mpa or something then convert pa to mpa and the measurements they give u will be in mm unless said otherwise (like stress questions gonna be given to u in mm)

just learn the formulas and if there any no measurements shown e,g m always assume its mm. MPA AND GPA understand those units and overall if ur bad at maths there's still time just practice

anyone have easy tips to doing drawing questions i dont understand how to get measurements from a diagram when they are not explicitly written + they are at an angle... isnt that not the true length?

Pretty sure its 13 right?
I did sum of the forces parallel to the plane = 0, maybe you didn't divide by the acceleration, I had the same answers for the ones in section 2 tho
