hi, can anyone suggess a good text book on this subject for me, the text book that i use not very clear so need another one but I am unsure what text book to buy.

Look into the John Rochford Student's Handbook and Typical HSC Questions, they are quite good books. Your teacher will probably be the best resource you will get (I know mine is) so don't exclude him or her. You should really use this place as a resource too, we are always ready to help.

I noticed you are a girl, good on you.

I find that the text books that i use at school are comrehensive enough
Engineering Studies: The Definitive Guide by: Paul .L. Copeland
and the HSC Engineering Studies Excel text book is a good one aswell
