yea I thought about the inventions which confused me but looking back I think my piece about truth was pretty good. The markers will probably get tired of reading all the pieces on AI and technologies so they'll appreciate some different ideas

how did so many ppl know/predict it was gna be a discursive 20 marker? was it just coincidence
i picked up on a pattern, every even year there's a weird mod c question and in 2020 there was a 20 marker creative, so i deduced that in 2024 there was gonna be a discursive because nesa loves to brutally molest most of their students.

ya i think unique ideas and a cohesive structure of discursive will stand out to markers

yes plus the question did say 'ideas' from the text. to me, technology/inventions just read as a statement to convey the main idea of convenience and going back to basics. im sure the markers will appreciate another interpretation of the stimulus. as long as we made it quite obvious that we've incorporated the stimulus it should be fine i believe.

I did i talked about the migrant experience which is lowks a bit cliche but i didn't even think of technology. mine was a discussion on the conveniences and inconveniences of both my home country/australia and a lil bit of the going back to basics/roots part. i thought i cooked until the whole world did technology so idk :((
i pretty much did the same thing its legible, the main part of the stimulus you had to speak to was the part about choosing a path of less convinience, i think i did pretty well but i had too much time on my hands ended up filling out the booklet with a full final page of simlies and wtvr

i just talked abt how it was more convient to adhere to the australian way of life, as "going back to your roots" was harder to fullfil when language and culture becomes a barrier idk

Your argument should be clear and cohesive enough that the marker should be able to understand your position from the thesis without explicit reference. That's usually how it is in English.

hey guys, i thought i did well with today's mod c discursive because i had a really good prepared discursive response about storytelling using an extended metaphor. BUT EVERYONE I KNOW DISCUSSED TECHNOLOGY IN SOME WAY, LIKE SOCIAL MEDIA OR THINGS THAT MAKE OUR LIFE EASIER IN A LITERAL SENSE! i

didn't get the memo so i just talked about why stories are important amidst our reality despite it being fiction --> how stories of struggle and inconvinience helped preserve important teachings, oral storytelling, and then added a bit in about how the entertainment values of stories, add convinience and pleasure to our lives so we can escape our reality. and then how stories are at the backbone of our identity idk why i did

i wrote all the pages the gave us but nothing on technology (i wrote tiktok in there somewhere and then crossed it out urgh)

am i screwed? i know i should focus on other subjects and stop worrying but i wanna know my fate
yup you are screwed. I talked about how cars made us lazy physically. But the marker will probably think your idea is "unique" and give you higher marks for some reason.
