Just wondering how long should a generic HSC english essay be in terms of pages and a 20 mark question?

Have you guy's applied to uni yet? If so what uni and what courses?

At least 1000 words, but really, the length is not that important as long as you answer the question-make answering the given question your first priority, regardless of the subject you need to write the essay for.

1000 words seems like overkill but what do I know; I only got a band 4 in english.

Q2: Applying to uni and choosing a course depends on what you like and if money matters to you.
I think a great paying field and an exciting one would be geology.
I am doing pharmacy for example, its exciting but I don't expect much in terms of job opportunities. Same goes for nursing and biomedical science for instance.
