Hello, i have my half yearly ext 1 exam tomorrow and i am ready for my essay but I'm not sure how to prepare for my creative writing part? I was wondering what forms could the creative writing be? We asked our teacher and he said that its not going to be a letter or a speech so i was thinking it would be a short story but i am not 100% sure so, in what other forms can the creative writing come as??

Other forms: feature article?

I'm pretty sure a short narrative/story is the typical structure used.

Yup, there's also the possibility of a letter or speech, although it hasn't been around for quite a while if I recall correctly.

We asked our teacher and he said that its not going to be a letter or a speech

Other creative writing forms besides those you have mentioned can include radio transcripts and feature articles, however, it is usually very unlikely it will be asked in a school exam, although it is wise to have an awareness of the different textual features of these other forms and consider how you might adapt your creative to these forms in the rare event that it does get asked, but usually preparation for a short story is adequate.
