Enrolment entails choosing the program to combine with your law degree, along with the subjects for your first session (and sometimes second).

Check out the entries for combined law in the Virtual Handbook:
http://www.student.unsw.edu.au/handbook/undergraduate.shtml#Faculty of Law

Whilst for some programs (e.g. commerce) all subjects are compulsory, you are still responsible for enrolling in the appropriate subjects yourself. Nothing is done for you. You'll have to design your own timetable.

It takes a few hours at most... you'll have enough time. :)

If you're combining it with commerce, you already know which subjects you need to do. You'll just have to choose the actual class times for them (and for some subjects you won't even have to do that).

You could also do it early (i.e. now) by looking up the 2004 subject timetables on the faculty websites and piecing it all together yourself.

It looks like UNSW took down the virtual handbook soon after I posted that link.

You'll just have to wait.

Though I guess you could check this out in the meantime: https://my.unsw.edu.au/

laz... i took ur advice... n pieced together my timetable...

but i counted only 13.5hrs/wk lectures+tuts minus LAWS1052(Research) which is an additional 2hrs but with a duration of 6wks only... which added would make only 15.5hrs/wk...
is this rite... cos i rmb somebody telling me its around 18 or 20hrs a wk... or did i do something wrong?

my friends had about 15 hours a week last year (com/law) so that sounds about right

newb...
all com/law stu's take compulsory courses first yr...
ie. LAWS1052, ACCT1501, ECO1101, ECO1202 (for session 1)
which come under schools of law, accounting n economics...
go to their websites... n check out their timetable for these courses... then piece it together... do it early too cos classes have a max limit... so good times'll b taken soon...

ill send my "prelim" timetalbe to u via icq...
