We've had a few students here write some neat apps to help students choose their Courses and timetables:
Octangles and Rectangles
These both let you work out all the timetable options for the Courses that you want to study each semester. You can get it to calculate timetables that have least days at uni, late starts, etc. Try both and see which you like.

Pathways
This one helps you work out which Courses are pre-requisites for Courses later in your Program. For example, if you want to study COMP3411 AI in third year, it will let you know that you need to take COMP1927 beforehand, and that you will then be able to study COMP4418 afterwards.

This one imports your timetable into your Google Calendar. You will need to enter your Google Accounts password.
