if you look at my avatar, that's the pen i use. Lamy Studio F nib (14k gold) with Noodler's bulletproof black ink. It's the only waterproof water-based black ink. It bonds with the cellulose in the paper when the ink dries making it permanent (but non alcohol based.) RRP $299 - i've had it for about 4 years..

I also use a lamy 2000 fountain pen. Its a piston filler so holds a shitload of ink. It has a hooded nib that's gold plated with platinum. It's been in production since the 1960s. RRP $299 I've had it for about 2 years.

The third pen that i use for more everyday scribbling is a Monteverde Invincia fineliner (Black tie finish) (rollerball). It's the cheapest of the 3 not being made from gold or anything - RRP $80. The barrel of the pen is made from carbon fibre and chrome.

WTF!
Someone clearly needs to fix up their priorities. pens should not cost you $680.
Unless the pen carried itself, and wrote out your thoughts without any effort frm you, then I don't care what it does, it can't be worth that money

i've been forced to think about my pen choice, i had a ganglion in my right wrist because i write 'aggressively', its threatening to bulge through cheers to exams. i use felt tips, looking for a sexy fountain pen, no idea where to begin though.

No matter how many pens I have, I never seem to be able to solve the mystery of how they dissapear

Just practised my english essay a couple of times, and I gotta admit, This power tank pen is good...a bit fat though

That's it, I'm going to go pen shopping tonight. I am unsatisfied with my myriad of pens that run out after every letter I write.
