what do u mean by band 6 cut off?
you know how in maths there are standard deviations? they have to have a certain number of people above 90... so thats where scaling and all that stuff comes up.

i reckon the cut off will be 82 personally.. so that'd get scaled to a 90. but yeh thats just my opinion.

well judging by the way ive gone in the past (and taking into considerationg that very stupid crime question) i think ill end up with a mark of between 94 and 96 (hopefully higher grr!!)

I'm guessing I got a raw mark of around 69/75......so that's like 91% I think. I'm not including crime in that because it's very unpredictable....they could end up marking it very lenient. Plus, theres all the scaling - so I really have no idea.

High 80s ? Low 90s? Pfft. I dnt like predicting cos it makes me feel bad when i get worst than what i expected.

sum1 wrote in another thread that legal doesnt get scaled... and that it says in some book that there can either be 5 band 6's or 500 and that it isnt dependant on how everyone goes

Wow....you guys make me feel bad! : ) I only got 78% in my Trial exam, so I hope I can do better than that. I don't think I'll get more than 80 though.

lol i'm scared of doing worse too! cos we get so much more time to study for the hsc than the trials, you'd hope to think that we'd improve and do a lot better! Anyway....fingers crossed :)

Crime - ~22
Family - Above 22
Global Environment - Above 22

That's what I'm hoping for so it's half what I think I'll get and half what I want to get, either way I want over 90

Multiple Choice - 13
Short Answer - 7 (I wrote examples of international and domestic law) + I'll prob lose 1 mark in either of the other Qs
Crime - difficult to say because I am not sure what they will be expecting and accepting - 22
Workplace - 25
Consumers - 25

Total: 92% I really hope it is more, but I doubt it. My goal was 95%

I bullshitted so much in this exam. I made up just about everything in the essays. :(

Let's hope they fall for it.

Mutli-choice: 12ish/15

Short answer: 7ish/10

Crime: 12-18ish/25

Family: 15ish/25

Shelter: 10/25 DAMMIT SUCKAS

If I get anywhere near an 85, I'll cry in relief. i.e. I definitely have to get a band 5 or above. I utterly failed Crime because I had no idea what the hell c) was about and subsequently didn't finish the 12-marker. I'll probably get really, really shit though. Goddammit! I need Legal to count.
