heya!

ok so for my tafe course i needed to get a job in hospitality. my current job is retail.

i now have this job at a pub however i need an excuse for why i cant work sunday lunchtime.... i cant tell them that im working at my old job lol.

any ideas?

Lots of people work two jobs. There is no reason why you should have to lie

Alternatively tell them you play some sort of sport, or have church commitments.

I dont know if you're being a moron, but the reason that I said this is because he doesnt want to work on a SUNDAY

Employers cant discriminate based on religion etc. So i figured it was a fairly good excuse?

i was thinking sporting commitments too but yeah i think ill just tell them the truth. after all they do know that i need this job for tafe and on my resume my old job is still "2004-present" so its implied that i still work there.

i just hope they dont think im using them and will quit as soon as i complete my requirements........... which i might, if its bad haha. but the pay is better than my current job so ill prob stay :)
