The Dux of my school came second in Ext 2.

I had the pleasure of reading parts of it, it was quite brilliant.

Hmmmmmm, it may have been coz I did it in the last 9 days, or that my log book consisted of seven entries, two "drafts" and a drawing of a Red Bull can, or that through the course of my speech you can hear sirens. But please, please let me blame it on the dirty commies that mark these works. Itll make me feel much better.

ariose - call me nuts, but I don't believe all Showcase candidates have to have top marks. You'd have to ask super_katie for confirmation, but I'm pretty sure she got 49/50... and she's in the 2004 showcase.

My mw got 50/50 it was my internal ranking of 2nd that had me ending up with 49 as my final moderated mark or what have you. The showcase has nothing to do with your assessment marks, its just your major work.
