Well since the exam was set quite a while ago does the current situation conflict with what was happening then?

Say we get a er question on inflation - which when they set the exam was a major issue with interest rates rising etc now rates are being cut and the eco is slowing

SO do we focus on whats happening now - what was happening then or just talk about how it was like that - now its like this and how did we get here

Im guessing the latter.

Go by the syllabus, only use what is happening now as an example and when it is relevant. You could also use the previous inflation conditions as an example if it was applicable to what u were discussing.
