For the last few years our school was doing crime fiction for ext eng. We, apparantly, have one of the best ext teachers for it.

You know what she does? She decides to change to Tragedies for our class.

:(

Is nyone doing, or has done victim or villain theme? we have done tess of the d'urbervilles, jane eyre and wide sargasso sea as well as catch 22... i have an exam on wednesday... has anyone done these and want to offer some advice or notes??? it would be greatly appreciated xx

texts are:
*north and south
*a doll's house
*portrait of a lady
yep i go to an all girls school haha and you can TELL

i cant decide if i should do ext next year..
its so....

C.19th-Individual in society is feminist and there are only 5 texts and they are all feminist or portray the individual usually female and the breaking of the paradigmand social constrains. So yeah its not just your school choosing just the feminist ones.

we're doing north & south, haven't read the book yet but love the BBC series

english ext. un-sylabus-y? that's why I love it :)

fanx guys for all ur comments and support, i now have renewed confidence in myself

i did my ect exam last week, and fortunately i lived, but how the diagnosis of my scars turns out is a totally different story

hopefully all the hard work paid off
